Project Description
The project included installation of approximately 8,350�f of 32�h diameter HDPE sewer force main pipe and relining of approximately 8,350�f of existing 27�h force main with 20�h diameter HDPE liner pipe. By constructing the new force main, flow in the existing aged and deteriorated 27�h force main was relieved to permit the pipeline to be relined, allowing preventive maintenance to be performed alternately on either force main on a periodic basis. The new force main was installed using HDD method to minimize disruption to roadways and the Aloha Aina Park that runs along the south edge of Hickam AFB.
