Experience Summary:
Mr. Chen's specialty is in hydraulics, computers and computer modeling.  At Fukunaga & Associates, Inc., Mr. Chen has worked on the planning and design of water and wastewater systems, most notably the Long-Range Sewer Rehabilitation Plan for the City & County of Honolulu.  Other projects include an island-wide salinity study for the City & County of Honolulu Sewerage System to identify locations of major infiltration in the system, sewer system evaluations for the Army Corps of Engineers, and sewer system evaluations for the privately owned Hawaii Kai Sewer System on Oahu.  Recent assignments include the Kapiolani Area Revised Sewer System; the assistance on the City & County of Honolulu SFAS model/update; and the City & County of Honolulu's 5th-Year Infiltration/Inflow supplemental programs.
