Experience Summary:
Mr. Amuro’s previous project experience encompassed preparation of preliminary engineering reports, treatment system planning, treatment plant design, construction submittal reviews and construction site inspection. His specific contributions included hydraulic analysis, mass balance calculations, technology assessment, site layout, equipment sizing and selection, control and instrumentation, and preparation of plans and specifications.

While at Fukunaga & Associates, Inc., Mr. Amuro has worked on a wastewater collection and treatment system design at Anahola, Kauai for the Department of Hawaiian Home Lands, the Effluent Disposal System at the County of Kauai's Lihue Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP), Injection Well Testing to Meet UIC Permit Requirements for the County of Kauai's Eleele and Lihue WWTPs, new force mains from Ford Island to the Fort Kamehameha WWTP at Pearl Harbor for the U.S. Navy, upgrades to wharf wastewater collection systems and oily waste treatment system for the U.S. Navy in Guam, potable water system improvements and a new water supply main under Pearl Harbor for Ford Island for the Navy, potable water improvements and storage at Kokee State Park, deep well pump design for the County of Maui's Pookela Well, and ordnance storage facilities at the Naval Magazine Pearl Harbor-West Loch Branch.
