Fukunaga and Associates, Inc. (FAINC), is a consulting engineering firm established on December 1969 in Honolulu, Hawaii.  The company provides professional engineering services in the civil, environmental, and sanitary disciplines for almost 40 years.  The firm consists of 17 engineering, drafting and administrative personnel. The principals are Royce S. Fukunaga, Chairman; Jon K. Nishimura, President; and Jon T. Muraoka, Vice-President.  The three principals combined have more than 70 years of consulting engineering experience.

The staff at FAINC includes 11 engineers and one GIS analyst. Nine engineers are licensed in the civil branch, one engineer is licensed in the chemical branch, and one licensed civil engineer is also licensed as a land surveyor.  Additionally, six of our engineers possess Master of Science degrees in the civil/environmental field.

FAINC has consistently provided quality consulting engineering services to a number of clients, including the federal government, State of Hawaii government agencies, City and County of Honolulu government agencies, County of Kauai government agencies, County of Maui government agencies, County of Hawaii government agencies, and various private developers.
